About Us

We love this house, so close to the centre of Haltwhistle in Northumberland, itself described as 'the centre of Britain' and within easy reach of Hadrian's Wall and the Pennine Way long distance footpath.

It's an old school house, built in about 1870 and recently a photography school and workshop. Five beautiful rooms are available, four on the upper floor and a double room on the ground floor, simply but neatly decorated and each with an ensuite or private bathroom. There's good wifi throughout the house and a utility room to dry out any wet gear. The house is non-smoking throughout.

We are close to Pennine Way and Hadrian's Wall long distance footpaths and ideally situated for visiting Hadrian's Wall and museums. Local shops, the railway station, bus stops and the Hadrian's Wall Bus Service are all within easy walking distance.

We have secure storage for bikes and a range of bicycle repair equipment.
